In the ranks of supporters of Raul and Rauf Arashukovs, a panic began in the law enforcement bloc. The next stage of the work of the federal TFR and the FSB in collecting evidence is nearing completion and arrests are about to take place. The list of the first three to be sent to jail is known. This is Alexander Kucherov, Investigator of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the KCR, Ruslan Kochkarov, deputy head of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee, and Zurab Afaunov, head of the KCHR prosecutor’s office. The latter, as the most well-to-do of this trinity, and having connections in Moscow, took upon himself the settlement of problems.

According to a source from Rucriminal.info, the last months for Zurab Afaunov and a number of his close friends from the law enforcement bloc have been very nervous. Journalists from one of the federal television channels turned to the KCR prosecutor’s office. They became interested in the person of Afaunov and the sources of his wealth. Also in the KCR, an operational investigative group from Moscow is completing its work, which is working on working out the Arashukov’s ties in the law enforcement bloc of the North Caucasus. It is known that security forces will not leave Cherkessk empty-handed; detentions are planned. The interlocutors say that at the moment in the list of potential prisoners in the first places Kochkarov and Kucherov, their close friend Afaunov is a little behind. Afaunov went to Moscow before the New Year holidays, as he repeatedly boasted among his colleagues that he had several people in the capital, including the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, who allegedly made him a reliable cover. Then the prosecutor’s employee returned to the KCR and, on someone’s advice, began to stamp in the media about himself “beloved”. “His responsibility did not scare him at all. There was so much energy in him ... Step by step, he climbed the career ladder, ”is a quote from one of similar materials about Afaunov. Moreover, all the articles are structured as if Afaunov is the main person in the prosecutor’s office of the KCR, and the head of the department and his deputies do not exist. Zurab loves to tell everyone that his opportunities in the prosecutor's office are not limited. Afaunov also promises that he will cover his friends from the SU of the TFR of the KCR, Kucherov and Kochkarov. Of course, this is more than bravado, which is visible in the mood of Zurab. Every day his face is darker and darker. A smile does not appear even on “protocol” photos. But to create the illusion of his significance in the media, Afaunov threw huge financial resources.

What are some things that the SKR and FSB officers involved in the “Arashukov case” became interested in. A lot of them. Here are just a few of them.

  Zurab Afaunov “wrapped up” the complaints of relatives of public figures Aslan Zhukov and Fral Shebzukhov that the “customer” of their murders was Rauf Arashukov. And the case of the murder of Zhukov was led by a close friend of Afaunov, investigator Alexander Kucherov. The first covered Arashukov along the lines of the prosecutor's office, and the second on the line of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee.

As for Ruslan Kochkarov, at one time he and Afaunov were introduced by the acting Head of the Investigative Committee of the TFR in the KCR, Kazbek Bulatov (currently under arrest). The whole trinity once swore allegiance to the Arashukovs at Adiyuh Palace, both were regular participants in events hosted by father and son in this residence.

Close interaction between the TFR employee Kochkarov and the prosecutor Afaunov was required to quickly solve the problems of Rauf Arashukov that arose in connection with the investigations into the murders of political figures Aslan Zhukov and Fral Shebzukhov. As part of the Arashukov’s case, a search was conducted in Kochkarov’s office.

Afaunov on the go-ahead of the Arashukovs participated in the illegal criminal prosecution of the chief of the rear of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Karachay-Cherkessia Mukhtar Pheskhov. As an indicative “flogging”, a “left” case was brought against him and sent to house arrest.

Zurab Afaunov is a close relative (brother of his wife) Guzer Khashukaev, special assistant on ex-Senator Rauf Arashukov.

Khashukaev (currently in custody) collected the cache for the Arashukovs from gas companies, knew about all the close affairs of the influential clan. For example, about the circumstances of the murders on the go-ahead of Rauf, public figures Fral Shebzukhov and Aslan Zhukov. At one time, Khashukaev introduced Afaunov to the Arashukovs and he also became their assistant, only unofficial. The ex-senator and his father assisted the prosecutor in their promotion, and in return he rendered services to an influential clan.

Afaunov's ebullient activities for the benefit of the Arashukov clan brought very good incomes. Afaunov owns 25% of the shopping center "Orange" (Cherkessk, Kavkazskaya St., 30), and a number of gas stations. Zurab is also currently building a luxury mansion in the center of Cherkessk (Tupikovy Lane d.13), the cost of which, together with the land, exceeds 30 million rubles. The land and the unfinished building were recorded on the mother of the prosecutor.
