Today, the Basmanny Court of Moscow should consider the application of the TFR to elect a measure of restraint in the form of detention to the governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Sergei Furgal. He is accused of organizing two murders and one attempt. Governor Furgal is charged with the same crimes that had previously been charged with his long-time business partner and friend Nikolai Mistryukov, who was arrested in 2019 and entered into a pre-trial agreement. One of the victims, Oleg Bulatov, was a business partner of Sergei Furgal and Nikolay Mistryukov (since 2003 they were co-owners of the VES-Marketing LLC, which had been liquidated at the moment), and with the other, Yevgeny Zorey, Furgal and Mistryukov were suing for production premises in Khabarovsk.

According to the telegram channel of the VChK-OGPU, Sergey Furgal is very, very well known to operatives. He developed a business in the forest and scrap metal, relying on local criminal groups. In the criminal world, he had the nickname Doctor, since there was a doctor’s education. Then Furgal bought a place in the Khabarovsk LDPR. Then he bought a place in the federal LDPR and a chair in the State Duma. From the Duma he moved to the chair of the governor. Now I’ve moved to a pre-trial detention center.

At the time when Furgal was a State Duma deputy, operatives watched with great interest his great friendship with Senator Amir Gallyamov. Doctor and Amir were inseparable at one time. They especially liked to spend time in a huge cottage on one of the reservoirs on which they rode a yacht. Gallyamov, in turn, also had a longtime friend, Senator Alexander Shishkin (Sasha Kemerovsky) - a member of the Kemerovo and Solntsevskaya organized crime groups. All these representatives of the authorities were participants in the gatherings, a very long bloody train stretches for everyone. All participated in the murderous showdowns. It is enough to recall the massacre in the sauna in Solntsevo in 1993, when the machine gunners shot all those gathered. Shishkin miraculously escaped by jumping out of a window. And all these people were at the top of power. And Furgal reached the governor. By the way, after this, his relationship with Shishkin deteriorated and he recalled him from the senator.

Criminal proceedings instituted on June 28, 2004 under part 3 of Art. 30, part 1, article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the attempted murder of a private entrepreneur A. Smolsky, January 31, 2005 under part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation upon the murder of a private entrepreneur Bulatov O.G.

On April 5, 2019, the decision to suspend the preliminary investigation was canceled by the Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the criminal proceedings were resumed, the criminal case was transferred to the Main Directorate for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. In the course of the investigation, other criminal cases are connected in one proceeding in the same criminal case. The term of the preliminary investigation in this criminal case was extended by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation until August 08, 2020, and in total up to 24 months.

In the framework of this criminal case, the senior investigator for particularly important cases under the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Burtova Yu.A. with the consent of the relevant head of the investigating authority, he appealed to the Basmanny court with a request for a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of Furgal S.I., detained in accordance with Articles 91, 92 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on July 9, 2030, which was charged committing a crime, under Part.3 Article.30, p.p. “E, f, s” part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ”.
