We continue to acquaint our readers with the materials of the case of the smuggling of 400 kg of "ambassadorial" cocaine from Argentina to Moscow. In a new article, Rucriminal.info publicizes the testimony of Igor Rogov, the manager of the Russian Embassy in Argentina. Before him, this position was held by Ali Abyanov, an acquaintance of the Foreign Ministry drug lord Andrei Kovalchuk. The latter left Abyanov with 400 kg of cocaine hidden in 12 suitcases. Before sending, Abyanov hid his suitcases in the back room of the embassy school. And then, unexpectedly, Abyanov was recalled to Moscow, and Rogov came to replace him. Abyanov took the time in every possible way so as not to transfer the cocaine utility room to the receiver according to the inventory. On the last day of the transfer of affairs, he casually said that 12 boxes of Kovalchuk were trash and a bust of Lenin. He described Kovalchuk as a person “from the center,” from the Foreign Ministry.
Rucriminal.info cites Rogov's testimony.
On the merits of the questions asked to me, I can show the following: to work as the head of the farm (supply manager) at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Argentina (hereinafter I will simply call it the Embassy), in accordance with the contract concluded with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, I arrived on 19.07.2016. In fact, work at the Embassy is a long business trip. Before me, the head of the Embassy's farm was Abyanov, whose business trip was over, but technically his business trip was extended, since my arrival was delayed for various reasons (at first it was planned that I would arrive earlier), and he had to hand over the farm to me. When my wife and I arrived in Buenos Aires, Abyanov met us at the airport, where I met him personally. Before that, I did not know him, although about 2-3 weeks before departure, I contacted him on the Internet in the Skure application) to find out what the climate is in Buenos Aires, what who needs to bring from Russia, one might say, met in absentia.
The day after arrival, I began to take business from Abyazov. I am obliged to accept all the property of the Embassy, including all buildings and premises. Cases are transferred and accepted in order of importance, first artistic values, then a representative fund, then fixed assets, off-balance sheet, and so on. On reception and transfer of cases to the managers are given 20 days, but we were "transferred" longer. On about the third day of my arrival, Abyanov fell ill, said that he needed “to lie down and for a certain period of time he would only take part in the transfer of affairs until lunchtime. Abyanov was ill for about two weeks. After his recovery, Abyanov said that he did not have time to collect his things before departure and, simultaneously with the transfer of affairs, he began to pack his luggage, of which he had a lot. In this way, affairs were transferred with difficulty. One of the buildings of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Argentina is a residential school, located at the address: Argentine Republic, Buenos Aires, st. Posadas, d. 1663. This building is so called because it houses a school for the children of the Embassy employees, as well as Russian-speaking families living in Buenos Aires, there are also 7 apartments for the Embassy employees. These apartments are usually occupied by the director and head teacher of the school, teachers, a skilled worker A. N. Dronov, the second driver previously lived
Abyanov began to transfer the school to me last, about 12.08.2016, that is, immediately before his departure to Russia, which was scheduled and took place on 16.08.2016. Abyanov transferred the school quickly, on an emergency basis, because he was in a hurry to pack his luggage before leaving. He assured me that everything is in order at school, there is nothing special, only "chairs, desks". He quickly walked me through the classrooms and apartments of the employees located in the building, I checked and accepted all the funds on the bill. The day before Abyanov's departure, I asked him to show me the areas of the cleaning ladies, he showed me these areas. At the same time, in the school building, I drew attention to the room under the main staircase. Abyanov said that there was rubbish, he opened this room to show me. In the room under the stairs, I saw ancillary inventory, old decommissioned things-1 bust of V.I. Lenin. In the far left corner were computers, broken chairs, armchairs, furniture. Abyanov showed me to this corner and said that there, under the rubbish, there are things of Andrey Kovalchuk - "12 boxes", which he took for storage. According to him, Kovalchuk had to come and pick up these things. I did not know Kovalchuk then, Abyanov answered me that Kovalchuk is a person “from the center,” that is, from the Russian Foreign Ministry. Abyanov spoke very well of Kovalchuk and said that Kovalchuk had visited Argentina several times and knew many people, including those from the Embassy. Talking about Kovalchuk, Abyanov said that he carried out some of his assignments, and in general said: "Well, you will get to know him." I asked Abyanov what was in these boxes of Kovalchuk. Abyanov replied that he did not know. I did not see these "boxes" themselves then, because they were covered with a black cloth and filled with broken
chairs, armchairs. Later it turned out that these were not boxes, but suitcases, but since Abyanov then and later called them boxes, I assumed that there was wine in boxes, since in Argentina there is good wine, which is usually taken away as a gift, and bottles with wine are usually packed in boxes. Then I did not begin to clarify anything else with Abyanov, since all this happened just before his departure, I had a lot to do, I did not suspect anything bad, I had no reason not to trust him.
