In 2018, the owner of BioFoodLab LLC Shifrina Elena Vladimirovna decided to fire Murat Radikovich Khalishkhov, CEO of this company, because he did not want to take responsibility for poisoned baby food produced by the company with sulfur dioxide.
The bottom line is that bars for children from 2 years old manufactured by this company under the bitey brand contain a toxic preservative sulfur dioxide (E220), which is prohibited in baby food in Russia. Letters from the Federal Research Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology and the National Research Center for Children's Health of the Russian Ministry of Health testify to the ban.
After the dismissal of Khalishkhov M.R. appealed to Rospotrebnadzor, but received only replies. He also notified all counterparties of this company in order to warn about dangerous products. Only Disney responded. BioFoodLab produced this baby food using Disney's Toon License. After checking, Disney revealed sulfur dioxide in the Bitey baby bar (Appendix No. 13) and demanded that Shifrina E.V. so that her company conducts an examination of its products in Rospotrebnadzor, and if the examination of Rospotrebnadzor also reveals dioxide, then Biofoodlab will have to comply with the instructions that this department will give. Without thinking for a long time, Shifrina simply gave instructions to make a fake expert opinion from Rospotrebnadzor and send it to Disney so that the products remain on the shelves. Evidence of falsification is slightly lower.
After several unsuccessful appeals to Rospotrebnadzor, Khalishkhov M.R. I sent an application to the Attorney General. After that, the prosecutor's office demanded a real check from Rospotrebnadzor, which also revealed sulfur dioxide in June 2020 and gave an order to withdraw the products from sale. Products and this time remained on the shelves. To the question: why are the poisoned products still on the shelf? Rospotrebnadzor replied to Khalishkhov that he did not have the resources to check the fulfillment of the instructions by each violator.
After checking by Rospotrebnadzor Khalishkhov M.R. wrote a statement to the Khimki police, handing over materials from Ropotrebnadzor there. The police, within the framework of the ORM, carried out a test purchase and repeated laboratory tests in the Soyuzexpertiza laboratory, and again the high content of sulfur dioxide in the baby food of BioFoodLab LLC was confirmed (Appendix No. 12, pp. 9-11). The collected materials were transferred to the Khimki Investigation Department of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for jurisdiction, where on June 16, 2021 a criminal case was initiated under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Appendix No. 4).
On 07/06/2021, as part of the initiated case, searches were carried out at the warehouses of BioFoodLab LLC and samples of baby food were seized for re-examination.
At this moment, a lawyer-resolver Gennady Udunyan appears in the case and after 3 days on 07/09/2021 the prosecutor's office, which had previously demanded the initiation of a case, cancels the decision to initiate a case and demands the return of all the samples that were seized during the search for a second commission examination / Apparently after re-examination of the course of the criminal case was not stopped.
The decision to cancel states that the prosecutor's office received the decision to initiate and the materials of the Criminal Code on 07/08/2021, because, in accordance with Article 146 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, the prosecutor has 24 hours to cancel the decision to initiate. Nikandrov it was found that in 2019, employees of BioFoodLab LLC forged the expert opinions of Rospotrebnadzor. The bottom line is that when interviewing Disney employee Potseluiko N.M., the survey included the expertise of Rospotrebnadzor, which BioFoodLab LLC provided to Walt Disney LLC CIS Companies, in order to keep the products on the shelves. Disney demanded to provide evidence of the absence of sulfur dioxide in the bars, Biofoodlab could not come up with anything other than to provide a false conclusion. This fact was established during the investigator's request to Rospotrebnadzor, in response to which it was indicated that there were no test reports for the requested examination, as well as the examination itself.
Also, at the beginning of 2022, as a result of another test purchase and subsequent examination by the investigator of the Khimki Investigation Department of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Nikandrov, a high content of sulfur dioxide in the baby food of BioFoodLab LLC was again established, but this time the investigator refused to initiate a case. Khalishkhov M.R. he explained the refusal by the fact that the prosecutor's office would not give a course to this case. This was explained to the investigator and his head at the Khimki city prosecutor's office.
Also in April 2022, in the laboratory of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, children's bars of BiolFoodLab LLC were examined for pesticides and Difenoconazole was found (Appendix No. 10). In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 17 of the Law on the Quality and Safety of Food Products, the use of raw materials with pesticides in the manufacture of food products for children is prohibited. On this fact, also in April, an application was submitted to the SO for Khimki, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia (Appendix No. 11), but 7 months passed and even the answer was not provided to the applicant.
How good is Gennady Udunyan in decisive matters, which can provide an opportunity for the manufacturer to earn hundreds of millions of rubles on baby food poisoned with pesticides and sulfur dioxide. The Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office have been demonstratively inactive since the moment Udunyan appeared in the case.
An unpunished manufacturer of baby food that poisons children and falsifies official documents of state bodies (expertise of Rospotrebnadzor) is, of course, sad, but it is aggravated by the fact that this company (BioFoodLab LLC) is funded by the West. Judging by the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the founders of this company include an organization registered in the British Virgin Islands - Lebry Ventures Ltd.
