A source from the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info reported the arrest and detention of two seasoned robbers from the 1990s who recently robbed the cottage of friends of Moscow Region Interior Ministry General Vyacheslav Tsurkan. Both defendants were previously members of the so-called "Cook's Brigade."

According to the source, the fatal robbery took place recently in the Dmitrovsky District. Experienced criminals Yuri Gnatyuk and Stanislav Khorkov robbed another "one hundred percent" cottage—both worked very carefully and on a tip.

The thieves' loot included cash and gold, and everything seemed to go smoothly. Except that the victims turned out to be close friends of Moscow Region Police Chief Vyacheslav Tsurkan. The order was given to find the thieves at any cost. It was gone.

Very soon, using state-of-the-art technology, which is not used in every manhunt, the criminals were identified. Evidence from a number of theft cases in the Moscow region was found during searches of the cautious bandits. They were arrested.

Yuri Gnatyuk and Stanislav Khorkov are known for having previously been members of an organized crime group and terrorizing entrepreneurs and construction workers in Solnechnogorsk, near Moscow. Their signature style is imitating the actions of law enforcement: for credibility, they would use uniforms and ID cards disguised as official cars, vehicles, and identification cards.

Over time, both retrained, engaging in car and motorcycle thefts (Khorkov is a professional motorcycle racer), as well as robberies (most recently, robberies, not robberies) of wealthy homes in the Moscow region.
